About
The Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema (WFAC) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organisation founded in 2001 to celebrate the unique artistry of the animated feature film.
The Waterloo Festival is firmly established in the international film festival circuit, bringing the latest animated feature films to North America. The Waterloo Festival remains the only film festival in the world dedicated to promoting and celebrating feature-length animation from around the world as a medium for mature, meaningful storytelling - and paying respect to this underestimated form of cinema, and the artists who toil in this industry.
The 13th edition of the Festival will be running November 14-17, 2013.
