For Immediate Release October 28th, 2004 WATERLOO FESTIVAL CHANGES VENUE Main portion of programme moved from Princess Twin Cinema to Hyland Theatre The Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema (WFAC), running Oct. 27th-30th, has announced that the Friday and Saturday portions of its film programme - the bulk of its screenings - will be held in the Hyland Theatre at 141 Ontario Street N., Kitchener instead of the Princess Twin Cinemas as originally planned. Due to unfortunate circumstances, a last-minute occupancy issue developed at the Princess Twin Cinemas, and that theatre was not ready for the Festival. In recognition of the inconvenience caused to the public and our dear Festival goers, all screenings will be delayed by half an hour from their original scheduled time, to allow for travel time. In addition, the Festival will be offering two-for-one on all screenings at Hyland Theatre. Bring a friend, or see two screenings for the price of one! Tickets will be available at the door at $10 cash for two. The Festival thanks Mr. John M. Tutt, owner of the Princess Cinemas, for his support. For more information, please visit our web site at http://www.wfac.ca. About the Festival The Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema (WFAC) is a film festival dedicated to promote recognition for animation as a legitimate medium for cinema, and to celebrate the power of animation in feature films. Now in its fourth year, the Festival features a wide selection of animated feature films from around the world, and smaller projects that demonstrate the fierce independent spirit of the independent animator.
